The Anhinga
They build nests in bushes and trees near water. It is monogamous. the male arranges the place and things for construction and the female builds the nest. The female lays 3-6 eggs. Both the parents care the chicks and feed them. The chicks first attempt to fly when they are six weeks old.

While it swims in the water, only its long head and long neck can be seen above water. After swimming, as its wings are wettable, it likes to perch on a branch of a tree nearby in order to dry its damp wings. It does so by spreading its wings to fly.
Its main food are fish. it is an expert in fish hunting. It also likes to have aquatic insects, frogs, water snakes, terrapins (moderately sized turtles), etc.
