Hello everyone. In the last post on roses, I mentioned that we had recently been to Mandu in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is a ruined city (that's what Wikipedia says) famous for its numerous forts and spectacular architecture. Most of the forts, mosques (it was a placed extensively ruled by Persian rulers) date back to around 11th-15th century.
The most famous tourist spot here is the Rani Roopmati Mandap (Queen Roopmati Pavalion). Its built on the Nimar valley. It was earlier used as a watch tower. It is siad that Rani Roopmati used to come here to enjoy the scenic beauty of the trail of the majestic river Narmada.
You can get a clear idea of the altitude of the pavilion from these photos.
We clicked so many pics that I am thinking of distribute them in some 3-4 posts. So bye for now.
